What Exactly cause Diabetes: Symptoms and Effective Treatment
Overview of Diabetes

When we talk of Diabetes, most people think it is just one disease. Meanwhile there are different kinds of diabetes. There is type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes and gestational diabetes, but we will be limiting the scope of this article to type 2 diabetes.

Type 2 diabetes, also known as Diabetes Mellitus, is a metabolic condition in which the body's cells become insulin resistant, meaning they cannot take up glucose from insulin, leading to excessive blood glucose. When this happens, one begins to experience the symptoms of diabetes which includes increased thirst, frequent urination, extreme hunger, unexplained weight loss and fatigue.

Causes

The major cause of diabetes in the case of type 2 diabetes is insulin resistance. Insulin resistance happens when the cells in the body are not able to receive the glucose carried by insulin for distribution around the body. This mechanism happens as a result of an impairment of glucose transporters at the cell membrane of these body cells.

In some cases, insulin resistance starts as a result of habits and lifestyle. When you consume foods that contain a lot of calories and carbohydrates, it causes your body to produce more insulin per time. Considering that insulin works hand-in-hand with glucose transporters in the cell membrane, this action over works these transporters attached to the cell membrane and they begin to malfunction causing them to resist the actions of insulin.

In some other cases, it could be a problem of genetic factors, whereby a parent of the patient might have suffered diabetes. This alone increases the tendency of insulin resistance which is the primary cause of type 2 diabetes. Meanwhile, other health conditions like Hypertension, Obesity, PCOS can lead to an early onset of type 2 diabetes.

Effective Treatment/Management

One of the most effective ways to treat diabetes is through herbal medication and lifestyle changes. Lifestyle changes includes eating less carbohydrates and foods with high calories, exercising daily and quitting smoking and drinking alcohol.
Also, studies have shown that some herbal drugs work more effectively than conventional drugs for diabetes. A typical example is Ekwe Nche, manufactured by wealth Solution Project. Taking this herbal medicine gives you an instant relief from every discomfort that comes with type 2 diabetes and subsequetly diminishes your symptoms of the metabolic disorder.

In conclusion, diabetes might not have a cure yet, but it can be managed perfectly when one has the right information.
